I decided to drive up to Vermont for sunrise yesterday to catch the last of the season's foliage. What awaited me as I approached Warren was really beyond words. The colors were heavy reds and golds in some areas and spotty in others. This one tree was the only one in a group that had retained most of it's vivid red leaves. The snow started out as a few light flurries and gradually built up to about 1-2 inches before it was all over. It coated everything and created a nice contrast against the colorful foliage.
I spent the next couple of hours chasing this Autumn/Winter Wonderland.
