Description
Beacon Hill is a wealthy neighborhood of Federal-style rowhouses located just north of Boston Common and the Boston Public Garden. It is known for its narrow streets, brick sidewalks, and gas-lit lamp posts. The neighborhood is bounded by Beacon Street, Bowdoin Street, Cambridge Street and Storrow Drive along the riverfront of the Charles River Esplanade.
Acorn Street is probably one of the most photographed streets in Boston with it's beautiful row houses on one side and the doorways of the hidden gardens of Mount Vernon on the other.
